Charlene Condeço BEM was recently presented with her British Empire Medal from the Lord-Lieutenant, Alan Simpson OBE, at a ceremony in Falkirk Council Chambers hosted by Provost William Buchanan.
Charlene had received her BEM for her work for Slamannan Parish Church and the community. She was the driving force behind a major renovation of the church in Slamannan including fund raising and project managing the work. The ceremony was attended by four generations of her family.
